PYPLOK COUPLINGS

In 1978, Deutsch Metal Components expanded the aerospace tube fitting technology to patent a NPS pipe and OD tube fitting system called PYPLOK®.

Originally developed for the US Navy, it expanded over the years to provide products and solutions to the Petrochemical market as well as other industrial process plants. As an equal to or better than replacement for welding or brazing, it found acceptance in many areas.

A hydraulically powered compression tool swages the fitting over the pipe or tube plastically deforming the fitting. This process forms a 360° radial compression around the pipe forming a permanent leak free seal. The technology to provide this seal is unique only to PYPLOK® Machanically Attached Fittings.

SOLAS TAPES

T-ISS manufactures specialized tapes for use in marine and offshore market. T-ISS have developed high tack tapes for many different applications. These tapes are made out of the best quality materials and designed to be used in the harsh marine environment. All tapes have all required certification from the major classification societies. T-ISS tape will always be in compliance with all IMO and Solas regulation and carries the wheelmark where applicable.

Anti-Splash Tape

Anti-Splash tape is used for applications in the marine and offshore industry. This multilayer aluminium tape has been designed by safety specialists in order to prevent spray outs of hot and hazardous liquids from piping systems. SprayStop complies with IMO A653(6) regulations and carries approvals from all major classification societies.

Sizes: 35mm to 1,000mm
Temperature: -70˚C ~ + 200˚C above
Pressure resistance: Up to 50 bars with SprayStop 50+
Adhesion: 1000 g above; 25 mm g/f
Shelf life: Minimum 3 years when properly stored

Hatch Cover Tape

HaCo Tape keeps moisture, weather, sound and fumes from affecting your valuable cargo, the blue liner ensures a tight seal when installed according instructions. HaCo Tape can be installed between 5 and 40 Celsius and will withstand conditions from -15 to 70 Celsius. Rolls are standard 20 meter of self-adhesive SBS bitumen rubber compound coated to a modified blue HDPE liner and with release PE Liner.

Temperature: 15˚C to 70˚C installed
Material: Durable foam layer SBS self-adhesive bitume-rubber layer

Insulation Tape

HeatStop is designed to insulate extreme high temperature surfaces in ships machinery rooms. Our basalt reinforced insulation tape complies with IMO MSC.61/67 and SOLAS Reg II-2/15.2.10. Heat stop tape comes with a modified reinforced adhesive tape to close the ends of the wrapping.

Pipe Repair Tape

PipeRep is ideal for all types of repair and maintenance applications. This product will set under water making it ideal for applications in splash zone, corrosion protection, reinforcement, piling protection and electrical insulation. Our pipe repair products retain pressure on supply lines.

Sizes: 5cm x 1.5m or 7.5cm x 2.7m
Temperature: Up to 250˚C
Material: Resin-coated glass fiber cloth
